On the 3rd of May we all went to
the castle. We all went to see the author of “Dirty Bertie”. He has written
many other books on “Dirty Bertie” and a few other stories. He illustrated some
other author’s books. When we all came to Lismore Castle we passed a room where
there was a man made of books, it was very big and impressive! Once we came
into the Pugin Room we all got into our seats. We all saw a Projector on the
wall and under it we all saw some other books that’s were not “Dirty Bertie”.
He
introduced himself as “David Roberts”. He welcomed us with a smile. He showed
us the Original “Dirty Bertie” book and other books that he wrote. Then after
that, we played a game where we had to pick something crazy and he had to draw
it. The person who won that game was “Ella Hickey”.
On the 2nd game the person who won was “Niamh O’Mahony”. They
received his drawings as the prize and his signature on the drawing.
We had the pleasure of him
drawing his favourite characters.
It was Amazing!!
