Swimming Lessons
On
Tuesday 14th May, we started our 6 week swimming course at “Aura
Leisure Centre” Youghal. The 2 buses left Lismore at 11:20 sharp. When we arrived we got changed into our togs and had a “Pre-Clearance Shower”. Soon after we did the test to see which of the 4 groups we would be
in. Each lesson was 45 minutes including 5 minutes of playtime at the end.
On the way home we were all
looking forward to diving into our lunchboxes to get some well-deserved
nourishment.
On the last week of swimming
everyone got a chance to go down the long and windy water-slide. We all enjoyed
the lessons and all of us learned something new. We would highly recommend Aura
Leisure Centre as they have very friendly and considerate staff. We would like
to thank the Parents Council for partly funding the cost of the swimming
lessons.
